Ramona and Bracen met at a party. Bracen thew his voice to charm Ramona into a date. After learning of his huge collection of creepy marionettes, she broke up with him. The next day, his Grandfather died, the man who raised him and taught Bracen all his skills as a puppeteer.

Crushed by love and broken by losing his personal hero, he was lost. However, he inherited a strange belt buckle that imbued him with the ability to animate his puppets with the souls of the dead. After receiving the buckle, he enjoyed a moderately successful career as a touring puppeteer duo of himself and his deceased Grandpa. His tour was cut short when Gideon Graves decided to put together the League of Evil Exes.

Armed with a new customized marionette animated by his Grandfather's soul and a scorned heart, Bracen looks forward to laying into Scott Pilgram with vengeful malice.

(This is my entry to the Scott Pilgram vs the World 8th Evil Exe contest. It was drawn and colored in Photoshop and Inked in Illustrator. This entry was a nice learning experience; It taught me a few new techniques.)
